Birding Day at the Farm Hub - Tuesday, May 14 · 7:30am - 4:30pm

Join Farm Hub for their first self-guided birding day at the Hudson Valley Farm Hub! Observe Bobolinks, Eastern Meadowlarks, American Kestrels, and Savannah Sparrows during the nesting season with the chance to observe less common species such as Sedge Wren.

The community can walk a 1.3-mile loop around our grassland bird field and explore the different habitats such as a pond, creeks, meadows, and the floodplain forest. Community members are welcome to come between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm to observe birds on the trail as long as desired. The Applied Farmscape Ecology Program team will be available to answer any questions. The terrain includes mostly flat gravel road and minimal shade in some areas.
