Town Board members on Tuesday appointed former Woodstock town Supervisor Tracy Kellogg as town clerk after learning that municipal work would come to a standstill by waiting.
The appointment was made in a 3-0 vote during an emergency session that became necessary when former Clerk Annie Reed last week announced her resignation before taking office.
