Proposed moratorium undergoing revisions

The Town Board agreed on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, to revise the proposed nine-month moratorium on certain property development in Hurley.

The revision primarily adds several exemptions to the proposed moratorium.

The updated version of the proposal still is being drafted and will be posted here and on the town Facebook page as soon it comes available. Those postings will be made well in advance of the May 16 Town Board meeting, at which the new version is to be the subject of a public hearing.

The May 16 meeting will start at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall, 10 Wamsley Place.
