Sloop Clearwater’s Hudson River Extravaganza – Saturday, August 12th, 11:00 am on the Library Lawn

On the Hurley Library Lawn Two Clearwater educators will visit with live fish and macroinvertebrates and present two learning stations. Participants will identify fish and aquatic invertebrates. The lesson will cover life cycles, adaptations, and human impact on these animals. Sloop Clearwater’s most popular program, it is hands-on, and interactive, and promotes a personal connection to our river, through the examination of the diverse life in the estuary. (In partnership with the West Hurley Library) There are still a few spots left, call the library to register. Photo courtesy of  clearwater.org
