Draft of town's '2023 Comprehensive Plan Update' now available
The Town of Hurley today (April 19, 2023) is releasing the draft of its “2023 Comprehensive Plan Update.” The draft can be viewed by clicking here or on the PDF link at the bottom of this announcement.
This is merely the first step in the process of ultimately adopting a Comprehensive Plan for the town that will update the 2006 version.
Public input – in the form of two workshop meetings in November 2022, and a survey of Hurley residents and other interested parties that was conducted from October to December 2022 – helped shape the creation of this draft. And now that the draft has been made public, additional public input will be accepted and a public hearing (or hearings) be held. These will help determine the need for any changes to the draft before a new Comprehensive Plan is approved.
