HURLEY GETS NEW DEDICATED ONGOING NEWS COVERAGE WITH KINGSTON WIRE

Hurley Up supports local press coverage of the Town of Hurley

It’s sometimes said that “Hurley is a black hole” when it comes to cell service and news coverage.  With a goal of encouraging greater information access, community awareness and engagement, Hurley Up has underwritten new, dedicated and regular press coverage of the Town of Hurley with the Kingston Wire, a locally-owned independent news source.

The Kingston Wire, publishing for almost 3 years on issues, opinions and happenings of the City of Kingston and Ulster County, is the sister publication of the venerable Shawangunk Journal, and local online news portal News Atomic.  Headed by experienced, local and independent journalists and editors, the Kingston Wire will now regularly cover Hurley town issues, happenings and more.  The Kingston Wire will have complete editorial control over what is reported and published.

Finally, the Town of Hurley will no longer be a news ‘black hole’!

The Kingston Wire is offereng Hurley news coverage for free for 3 months - you must however register on the Kingston Wire website to access.
