New Public Relations Officer Created For Hurley
In a single Hurley Town Board meeting on Oct 25th, the Town Board proposed the creation a new town position, voted and approved the new position with a part time salary of $35,000, and hired Jeremy Shiffres, the recently retired editor at the Daily Freeman. The position was not competitively selected. He will start November 15th. This is a part time employment position, not a 3rd party contract/engagement - benefits unspecified for position.
