Libraries sponsor Reptiles and Amphibians Program July 13

The Hurley Library and West Hurley Public Library are sponsoring a Reptiles and Amphibians Program, presented by the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum, at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 13, at the Hurley Reformed Church, 11 Main St. in Old Hurley. (Click here for map.)

The family-friendly program is free to attend, and no preregistration is required.

The program, at which live animals will be present, will examine the similarities and distinctions between reptiles and amphibians – specifically those that are native to New York State – and the challenges to survival that they face.

The program is part of the libraries' summer reading programs.
